Hello, I'm Ashley!

I'm a software engineer born and raised in Arizona but currently living out of Tennessee. I've spent the last decade being involved in tech professionally and I'm continuing to learn as the tech landscape grows and evolves. I've worn many hats over the years but I'm primarly a front-end software engineer.

Some other interesting things about me:

• I love video games, mostly PlayStation exclusives but I don't discriminate
• I'm addicted to Sudoku! Do you know how deep the rabbit-hole for Sudoku techniques goes? It's massive!
• I'm deeply into coffee. I make my own water for coffee and I have a home roasting machine for roasting coffee at home! You can browse my coffee roaster list if you'd like!
• I'm also into tea! I love Chinese black teas and Taiwanese oolongs. My favorite tea shop, Seven Cups, is in my hometown. Check them out!
• I'm a proud cat owner. I adopted a feral cat that showed up on my doorstep and he's my spoiled baby now.

I'm still figuring out what exactly I want to do with this space. My current plan is to practice some technical writing while I learn new things (or revisit old things) in tech. I also would like to document progress on other non-technical projects or just whatever else would be fun to share from my life. We'll see!
