Professional Experience

Spearheaded product-led growth strategies at HubSpot, pioneering the transformation of the pricing page into a new pricing model. Leveraged cross-team and cross-functional expertise to be an effective and impactful leader. • Orchestrated a 12-month, cross-team initiative to transform HubSpot to a seat-based pricing model, the most complex project in the company’s history. Successfully mastered the pricing model intricacies and tackled the technical complexity of supporting both models simultaneously on the pricing page through to global launch.
• Showcased incredible adaptability by unexpectedly serving as acting Tech Lead for the Self-Service Monetization team for the majority of 2023. Provided critical support and leadership, while still being a major contributor to the engineering work without dropping projects or missing deadlines.
• Accelerated ramp up time for new team members, mentoring across engineering, product management, design, and analytics roles. Demonstrated exceptional communication and mentorship skills, guiding new hires to become pivotal contributors within 60 days.

Primarily worked on the front-end design and development of the Discovery Environment (DE) platform. Advanced into back-end development with some dev ops surrounding Kubernetes. Grew into managing the DE’s QA department.

• Built highly used, critical features in the DE such as the interface for sharing with collaborators, creating and managing teams and collections, and the data view - the basis for most other first-class pages in the DE.
• Modernized the DE’s user interface and tech stack by transitioning the DE from Google Web Toolkit to React with the NextJS framework, enabling more rapid prototyping and development of components and features.
• Increased accessibility, mobile-friendliness, and standardized CyVerse’s user experience across products - a long time goal for CyVerse.
• Implemented backend features in Clojure and NodeJS by writing SQL queries and adding API endpoints for fetching Featured Apps, the primary apps view in our application, and first-class instant launches. Also completed the front-end aspect of these features.
• Assumed the management role over the QA department, previously headed by 2 full-time engineers. Increased manageability of the QA testing repository by enforcing best known git practices and decreasing cruft by 70% without losing test coverage.

Managed the integration and development of all cache and IO tests used to indicate the health and stability of a product in those areas. Conducted thorough data analysis and managed workflow and communications between test development engineers and failure analysis.

• Acquired and managed the rapid development of the cache and IO modules, over 40% of the area on the Tangier and Anniedale chips.
• Enabled our team to meet the organization’s need for leaner, more efficient teams by taking on the modules and workloads previously managed by 3 full-time engineers.
